Retail Opportunity Investments buys Calif. retail center for $41.5M

Retail Opportunity Investments, a San Diego-based REIT, has acquired a retail center in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego for $41.5 million. The 133,422-square-foot complex, Hawthorne Crossings, includes such tenants as Staples, Ross Dress for Less and Mitsuwa Marketplace. Read the San Diego Business Journal story here.
