$714M medical glove plant planned in Va.

A $714 million medical glove factory is planned in Wythe County, Virginia. The plan by Connecticut-based Blue Star NBR and Delaware-based American Glove Innovations calls for an operation spanning more than 200 acres with the possibility of eventually tripling in capacity. Virginia Business

Hotel construction begins at Covington, Georgia complex

Officials have broken ground on a Residence Inn by Marriott in Covington, Ga., the first of three planned major hotels at the Town Center development. A Courtyard by Marriott and a Staybridge Suites are also on the way, with the three hotels combined valued at $100 million forming part of the $300 million Town Center project. The Covington News
