Nobu Hotel, which just completed a multimillion-dollar renovation that includes a variety of new contactless features, is also offering day passes to those who don't necessarily need a place to spend the night but might enjoy some of the hotel's amenities, such as its business center and lunch from its restaurant. Times Square hotel makes progress with construction

University-owned mall undergoing changes

The Macy's building at Lynchburg, Virginia's West End of River Ridge will be demolished and the property redeveloped into an open-air shopping center and food court on behalf of Liberty University, which owns the mall. Lousiana mall could be redeveloped into Amazon facility

A company with ties to Amazon filed plans with a Louisiana planning commission to demolish Baton Rogue's shuttered Cortana Mall and replace it with a warehouse and office. Plans were initially stalled by negotiations with the mall's different property owners. Read The Advocate story here
