Austin, Texas, backs $7.1B for transit initiative

Water park resort proposed for Hollister, Missouri

Imagine Resorts & Hotels announced plans to open an 88-acre water park resort in Hollister, Missouri, with construction slated to begin in 2021. The project will include a 100,000-square-foot themed indoor water park, a 40,000-square-foot family entertainment venue, up to eight themed restaurants, 30,000 square feet of convention space, retail space and 450 cabins and guest rooms. JE Dunn proceeds with Steak 48 project in Charlotte

JE Dunn’s is moving apace with a $5.75 million interior buildout for an upscale steakhouse, Steak 48, to Apex SouthPark, a luxury mixed-use development taking shape in Charlotte, North Carolina. On the first floor of the Apex SouthPark complex Steak 48 will occupy approximately 9,600 square feet and offer diverse, fine-dining experiences featuring a collection of intimate dining rooms including patio seating. Nebraska Innovation Campus hotel construction begins

Work has begun on a new six-story hotel at Nebraska Innovation Campus. St. Louis-based McCarthy Building Companies Inc. said it broke ground this week on the hotel, which is located near the intersection of 21st Street and Transformation Drive, adjacent to the Rise building. Huge sign raised as Circa Las Vegas build continues

The under-construction Circa hotel-casino is getting its first exterior sign bearing its name. The sign, manufactured by YESCO, weighs about 6 tons and spans 68 vertical feet and the first “C” in “CIRCA” measures 34 feet high, the resort said in a news release. New Hard Rock Hotel New York topped out

Developers of the new Hard Rock hotel in Times Square held a "topping out" ceremony at the 446-room hotel. Florida-based Hard Rock International and developer Extell Development Company held the ceremony at the hotel's 35th floor terrace to commemorate the completion of the 291,000-square-foot hotel's exterior.
