Tampa in the midst of a building boom

Dodge Data & Analytics predicts the construction boom in downtown Tampa, Fla., will create $13 billion worth of investment, with much of that work centered around redeveloping the waterfront. The 1.8-million-square-foot Midtown Tampa mixed-use project and a $3 billion waterfront mega-development are two examples, and much of the effort is focused on walkability and interconnectedness.
