$1B, 3-tower project proposed in Orlando

A developer in Orlando has submitted a Notice of Proposed Construction to the Federal Aviation Authority for a $1 billion, three-tower project. One tower would reach 540 feet, surpassing the height of Orlando's tallest downtown skyscraper. Read The Business Journals story here

Margarita bar planned for BeltLine residential development

Guac y Margys, a new margarita bar concept, will open on the ground-level of Inman Park's Residences at Studioplex, a development of 19 luxury townhomes, in late May or early June of 2018. Calif.’s College Plaza to get Hobby Lobby as anchor

College Plaza in Oceanside, Calif., is a 150,000-square foot retail center that will become the site of a Hobby Lobby anchor. Cushman & Wakefield arranged the transaction for more than 58,600 square feet of existing space, which was formerly occupied by Dick's Sporting Goods. Wisconsin landmark’s new life set to begin in summer

After some delays, the renovated Hotel Retlaw in Fond du Lac, Wis., is expected to open this summer. The 1923 structure underwent a $25 million makeover that includes a restaurant, espresso cafe, wine bar and luxury spa along with 127 renovated guest rooms. Read the WBAY-TV story here

Construction begins on 31-story Austin, Texas, hotel

White Lodging broke ground on a new 613-key property in downtown Austin, scheduled to open in the summer of 2020. The new Austin Marriott Downtown will go up 31 stories at the corner of Cesar Chavez and San Jacinto, overlooking the University of Texas campus, the State Capitol and the downtown Austin skyline.
