Downtown hotel study moves ahead in Modesto, California

Kmart to shutter 34th Street flagship in NYC

Gym, movie theater fill vacant Sears store in Long Island

A former Sears store inside a Long Island shopping center is being partially filled with a 24 Hour Fitness gym. Brookfield brings new hotel concept to DC

Brookfield Properties is introducing a new hotel concept to Washington, DC, called Yours Truly. With a goal of making the 355-room hotel a hotspot for locals as well as out-of-town guests, Yours Truly will feature events, a record shop, DJs and other attractions. Hilton Garden Inn proposed for mall in Lexington, Kentucky

There are plans to build a new hotel next to Fayette Mall. The hotel would be near Moe's and BurgerFi on Rojay Drive. Both restaurants would be relocated. The Old Pub restaurant, which closed in 2017, would also be torn down to make way for a new Hilton Garden Inn. Read the WKYT-TV story here
