The 2019 Summit will be held January 15th-17th, 2019 at The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Biloxi, MS.
Glistening water, passing ships and inquisitive seals could delight visitors willing to pay at least $150 for an overnight stay. Hotel Indigo will offer 142 rooms at the city’s waterfront by summer or fall 2019. A celebration of Everett’s next large lodging is planned at 10 a.m. Thursday. New York will get its first dedicated soccer stadium as part of the Harlem River Yards project in the South Bronx. The $700 million project also includes affordable housing to supplement new towers already underway. Read the New York YIMBY here
North Carolina State University and Skanska have signed a $106 million contract to build a 226,042-square-foot engineering building. The project is expected to be completed in 2020. Read the Commercial Property Executive story here
A $110 million project will renovate a historical warehouse on the Pittsburgh riverfront into a complex with offices and retail and featuring public green space. Pa. Gov. Tom Wolf says that this once old, tired area has "transformed itself." Read the Tribune-Review story here
Fairmont Properties has announced new tenants and plans for the $230 million Pinecrest project in Orange Village, Ohio. The project will include an REI, West Elm and Whole Foods anchor lineup, as well as an AC by Marriott hotel and 150,000 square feet of office space. Read The Plain Dealer story here
Wegmans will open a store in Natick, Mass., on April 29, its sixth in the state as it expands there. The company's efforts to open a location in Boston proper, however, have not yet borne fruit, with a bid for a Fenway location falling through last year. Read The Boston Globe story here

Questions and details surrounding the proposed hotel in The Village are one step closer to being answered. In front of a packed council chambers, Pedersen Development Co. gave a presentation on its current iteration of the proposed hotel.
