3 Miami Beach hotels OK’d for $750M renovation project

A three-hotel restoration project with an estimated cost of $750 million won approval from the Miami Beach Historic Preservation Board after the New York developer agreed to lower the height of a planned condominium near one building. Most of the hotels' space will be converted to condos and only one, the Raleigh, will continue as a hotel. Read the Miami Herald story here
